Integrated National Transport Systems For Samples And Results
CRIHSS Foundation, Transforming local challenges into opportunities

Who We Are
A test result can only save a life if it arrives in time. INTRASSAT, Cameroon’s Integrated National Transport System for Samples and Test Results, carries patient samples from 1,208 health facilities, including the most remote, to laboratories in all 10 regions and brings the results back. CRIHSS Foundation implements it in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and CDC/PEPFAR.
A result that never arrives is a treatment that never starts
Nearly half of the world’s people have little or no access to diagnostic tests. In Cameroon, gaps in viral load, infant HIV and TB testing have long meant delayed treatment and unequal health outcomes. INTRASSAT was created to close those gaps, starting where the road ends.
